SchoolNextDoor is seeking for the Summer ’23 University undergraduate or graduates that are motivated to make a difference in a young person’s life while having a great time at a stunning location in the Tuscan countryside. 

 

SchoolNextDoor Summer Camps offers both day and overnight residential camps for boys and girls ages 5-15.

If you’re a strong all-rounder and want to work with a small group of kids, you will make a great SchoolNextDoor Summer Camps Counsellor.

​

You’ll lead, under the Camp leader's guidance, a small group of campers, guiding them through their time at the camp.

 

You will offer support, guidance and encouragement to the team while having a go at all activities the camp has to offer.

 

You will share the day with your group of campers, keeping them on schedule, and team up with the activity leaders to ensure that each activity is fun and runs safely.  Your summer day-to-day experience will be a non-stop adventure.

 

From waking the campers up in the morning to saying goodnight, you’ll keep camp moving along smoothly, you will be a role model for your campers and make sure they’re well looked after.

 

Working with kids at the camp is an amazing experience, your campers bring an incredible amount of energy to each activity, and you will make a lasting impression on the campers.

 

Our camps are in stunning locations and provides a strong connection to the natural world, which is always part our programmed activities, together with English Language learning, STEM, robotics, outdoor activities and sports.

Preferred Skills & requirements:

• Passionate about teaching to kids, tweens and teens.

• Flexible team player with strong communication skills.

• Has a positive attitude and a good sense of humour.

• TEFL certification or fully fluent English speaker (C2 level).

• Confident in leading a small group of campers

• A background in tutoring kids, tweens and teens is highly desirable.

• Camp experience is a plus.
